The 2023/2024 Premier League new season dates have been confirmed with a total of 10 matches to roll out during the first weekend.

The Premier League new season will officially kick start on the 12th and 13th of August 2023, with all fixtures of the calendar set to be released on Thursday 15 June.

Manchester City will begin their quest as the defending champions after tipping Arsenal to win their 7th title, winning it three times in a row, with only Manchester United doing so.

When Will the Premier League New Season Begin

Newly promoted sides, Burnley, Sheffield United, and Luton Town will learn their fate as they begin their new quest into the Premier League come August 12/13.

The new season is set to run from August 12th till Sunday, May 19, 2024.

In other words, there will be a short winter break with no matches between 13 January to 20 January 2024.

But before the new Premier League season gets us underway, Manchester City vs Arsenal will first square off in the Community Shield which comes up a week before (6th August 2023).

Having won both the Premier League and the FA Cup, City will be playing Arsenal given the fact that the Gunners finished second in the league table.
