A Nigerian Nollywood actress, known as Bimbo Ademoye, has explained that all her career as an actress, she has never slept with any producer in exchange of movie role in the industry.
In interview with the Sun Newspaper, she revealed this, According to what she told the Sun Newspaper, she said she entered the Nollywood industry through her senior colleague, uduak Isong who took care of her on new stage of her Nollywood career.
Actress Bimbo also said that a lot of actresses in Nollywood experienced such problem, but he survived it, she said that she started in a positive way. According to her, a lot of producers wanted to use her body or sleep with her, which she declined their request.
The popular Actress also took the opportunity to address the upcoming actresses to take care of their body and not to sleep with any producer in exchange of any kind of role.
In her words she said, “To be honest with you, everybody wanted to make use of the body. Everybody wanted me to play the sexy secretary or girl that snatched someone’s husband, or the one that snatched the other person’s boyfriend. I can say that i have been lucky, I came into the industry through uduak Isong. I didn’t experience the issues of sleeping with producers because of roles and i have never slept with anybody for that. She was more like a mother to me when I started.
